Project Highlight
Engineering of a 3-Speed Model T Transmission
This project involved the design, analysis, and fabrication of a modernized 3-speed transmission system inspired by the original Ford Model T drivetrain. The objective was to improve gear efficiency, enhance torque delivery, and provide smoother shifting while maintaining the mechanical simplicity and historical authenticity of the early 20th-century vehicle.
The transmission was engineered using precision CAD modeling and mechanical simulations to optimize gear ratios, bearing placement, and clutch engagement mechanisms.
